Financial research and ratings company, Cannex, has hired Andrew Spicer as company chief executive.
In line with its growth strategy, financial research and ratings company, Cannex, has hired Andrew Spicer as company chief executive.
The appointment of the former Suncorp Metway executive comes as the Cannex plans to expand its comparative research offerings.
"We are looking forward to incorporating many more financial products into our flagship Cannex star ratings which are also set to include insurance products," Cannex executive chairman Andrew Willink said.
"Andrew Spicer is the right person to step Cannex up to that next level."
Prior to joining Cannex, Spicer was chief executive of WebCentral Group, Australia's largest web hosting company. He has also held a senior executive position at Suncorp Metway and has had management consultancy experience with McKinsey & Co and Ernst & Young.
Spicer commenced work in the Cannex's Brisbane office this week.
