ING rebuilds small caps team

By Christine St Anne

ING Investment Management has appointed former RCM Capital Management analyst Joel Fleming to its small caps team.

ING Investment Management (INGIM) has appointed former RCM Capital Management analyst Joel Fleming to its small caps team.

The move comes as the group attempts to rebuild its small caps capability after the entire team defected to Credit Suisse Asset Management in May.

In July, the investment manager hired Sinclair Currie as a small cap portfolio manager.

Fleming's previous job was with RCM, which pulled out of the Australian equities market in April.
