Four months after his departure, Vanguard fills George Vassos' old shoes.
Fund manager Vanguard has hired Brett Mennie as the national sales manager for adviser sales.
Mennie replaces George Vassos who left in April after nine years with the company.
In the job, Mennie will be responsible for building the adviser business and managing the sales team which includes five business development managers and two business development associates.
He will report to Vanguard's head of retail sales and strategy Terry Williams.
Mennie previously worked with financial services company Axa as the state financial planning manager where he developed Axa's adviser network, expanding the business to include 300 financial advisers. He has also worked for Perpetual Funds Management as a business development manager.
Mennie will begin his job with Vanguard in mid-October.
