S&P rates two funds

Standard and Poor's (S&P) has given four stars to the Dimensional Fund Advisers range of Australian equity funds and the unlisted Becton Diversified Property Fund (BDPF).


Standard and Poor's (S&P) has given four stars to the Dimensional Fund Advisers range of Australian equity funds and the unlisted Becton Diversified Property Fund (BDPF).

Dimensonal employed an attractive buy-and-hold approach with a focus on efficient trading strategies, which kept transaction costs low, S&P fund analyst Justine Gorman said.
 
The fundamentals of the property sector - which BDPF invested in - were strong and good for capital and income growth over the long term, S&P fund analyst Robert Buckmaster said.
