Societe Generale has appointed a new head of loan syndicate and distribution for the Asia-Pacific region.
Global investment bank Societe Generale has appointed Jose-Antonio Olano as Asia-Pacific head of loan syndicate and distribution.
Reporting to Societe Generale co-heads of global syndicate Alvaro Huete and Ghislain de Brondeau and Societe Generale Asia head of capital raising and financing Ashley Wilkins, Olano will cover the syndication and distribution of loans for Asia and Australia.
He will be based in Hong Kong and work closely with the global capital markets team to tailor funding solutions to issuers across different sectors, including energy and natural resources, asset-based industries, real estate and infrastructure.
Prior to this appointment, he was Societe Generale head of loan syndications for Spain and Portugal. He also previously worked for Deutsche Bank for eight years.
